Events & Programs

We had a great afternoon at the Boone County Ready Festival at Cosmo Park!🚒🚨 Families stopped by the Columbia Children’s Museum pop-up for hands-on activities, community connections, and plenty of opportunities to explore while celebrating local first responders. Events like this give us another chance to bring interactive learning out into the community while we continue building toward a permanent children’s museum for Columbia. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, participated, and spent part of the afternoon with us!🎨✨

Zipperfest was from 1pm to 7pm Saturday September 12th! 🎉 This pop-up was art centered, with hands-on activities for children and families who played and created together. 🎨

On September 5, 2026, Columbia Children’s Museum held its first public pop-up at the Columbia Farmers Market. Families met our team and explored hands-on activities and exhibits together. We are grateful to everyone who helped make our community debut such a successful beginning.
